WELCOME TO SHERLAB LABRADORS of South Dakota. The SherLab bloodline was started in 1964 and is one of the few bloodlines in the United States which has produced both Field and Show Champions plus one Canadian Dual Champion, plus wonderful hunting dogs, companions, and pets.

We offer retriever field and obedience training for puppies and adult dogs, plus information about natural nutrition for dogs, dog health, and dog behavior problems.

Our Labradors have been naturally fed since 1975 and are owner trained using positive, fun methods.

Our goal has always been to produce intelligent, easily trained, enthusiastic retrievers with correct Labrador conformation. In 2004 we wrote an article published in the Spring issue of the LABRADOR QUARTERLY magazine entitled "A Challenge to Labrador Breeders" emphasizing the importance of producing the total Labrador Retriever.
